Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Regular Dude Defense website (www.regulardudedefense.com). We built it to show you what we do and how to reach us, not to collect your data.

• The only form on this site is the contact form. There are no accounts and no logins.
• We don't set cookies of our own. Our analytics tools (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) do.
• Your age-verification choice is saved in your own browser, not sent to us.
• We don't sell your personal information.

The only personal information we get through this website is what you choose to send us. If you call (775) 471-9010 or send a message through our contact form, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us. Contact form messages are delivered to our inbox by an email delivery service and aren't stored on this website. That's voluntary, and we use it to answer your questions, schedule appointments and take care of your service or order.

Firearm purchases and transfers involve federal paperwork (such as ATF Form 4473) that licensed dealers are required by law to complete and keep. That happens in person at the store, not through this website.

We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used and to improve it:

• Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TKJ70DEKSM) collects information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and whether you tap our phone, email or directions links.
• Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement) to produce session recordings and heatmaps. The only place you can type on this site is the inventory search box, so please don't enter personal information there.

These services receive your IP address and set their own cookies or similar identifiers. They process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We use the reports to see which pages are useful and where the site needs work, not to identify you.

We don't set any cookies of our own. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies (for example, _ga, _clck and _clsk) to tell visits apart and measure return visits.

When you confirm you're 21 or older and choose to be remembered, that choice and a timestamp are stored in your browser's local storage for 30 days so you aren't asked on every visit. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Our contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google may collect information under its own privacy policy. Buttons such as “Get directions” open Google Maps directly.

Our resources page and other pages link to outside websites, including YouTube channels, retailers and training sites. Once you leave our site, that site's privacy practices apply, not ours.

The firearms shown on this site come from our own store inventory records. They describe the guns (make, model, caliber, price and so on) and contain no customer information.

Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information, such as IP addresses, browser type and the time of each request, to deliver pages, keep the site secure and troubleshoot problems.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with anyone except the service providers described above, or when we're required to by law.

Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. You're still welcome to contact us with any privacy request.

• Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. The site works without them; you'll just see the age check again.
• Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab).
• Microsoft Clarity. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab) for how Microsoft handles Clarity data and your choices. Blocking cookies also limits Clarity.
• Content blockers. Many privacy extensions block both analytics services entirely.

This site is intended for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
